All departments on alert for Cyclone Dana in Bihar

Patna, After the severe cyclonic storm 'Dana' hit the coastal area of Odisha, it is going to affect Bihar as well. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning about Cyclone Dana for 19 districts of Bihar. Most of the districts of Bihar are cloudy due to the effect of the cyclone. The sky is cloudy in many districts and the weather is likely to remain bad. Especially in the south and eastern parts of the state, a significant impact can be seen due to the storm. Therefore, people have also been advised to be cautious.
In fact, Cyclone Dana, which is a strong storm, hit the coast of Odisha at 12:30 in the night, due to which heavy rains and very strong winds are blowing there. According to the Meteorological Department, the speed of this cyclone is likely to be around 120 km per hour.
This storm is going to have a significant impact on Bihar as well. It will mainly affect the districts of South and East Bihar. The Meteorological Department has issued a special warning for Khagaria, Munger, Banka, Patna, Bhagalpur, Jamui, Jehanabad, Bhojpur, Arwal, Buxar, Rohtas, Kaimur, Aurangabad, Sheikhpura, Gaya, Lakhisarai districts. These districts are on alert due to the possibility of coming under the effect of Dana.
If we talk about Patna, then a change in the weather is being seen here since morning. With the drop in temperature, thick clouds have covered the sky. This seasonal change is indicating the effect of cyclone. Meteorologists believe that the chances of rain may increase in the coming days. The Disaster Management Department of Bihar has issued an alert for all the districts. Officials have also asked people to adopt all possible preventive measures to keep them safe.
There is a possibility of heavy rain due to the effect of the potential, which can also affect agriculture and infrastructure. At the same time, there is a possibility of trees falling and other supplies being disrupted due to strong winds. Also, due to continuous rain, situations like floods, heavy waterlogging can occur.
