Anuppur, Police Outpost Funaga took action by confiscating (18 cattle/buffaloes worth Rs. 3 lakh 60 thousand cruelly loaded in 03 pick up vehicles and confiscating goods worth Rs. 41.60 lakh including all the three pick up vehicles. Today on 13.09.24, during investigation of crime, information was received from an informer that pickup vehicle number MP18ZD1345, pickup vehicle number MP18ZC7454, pickup vehicle Sold were being taken to Byahari after stuffing buffaloes in the jungle after stuffing them in a small space. Upon receiving the information, the accompanying staff R 345 Rakesh Kanase, R. 348 Veer Singh Pal set up a blockade near the Kolmi Road intersection and saw pickup vehicles MP18ZD1345, MP18ZC7454 and Sold coming one after the other from the Dhurwasin side, which were seized by wisdom and action. All three drivers were stopped and when asked for their names and addresses, they told that their names were Mohammed Kalam, son of Mohammed Raza Muslim, age 27 years, resident of Keshavhi Chowki, Keshavhi Police Station, Budhar, Satyanarayan Dwivedi, son of Triveni Prasad Dwivedi, age 40 years, resident of Aamdih Police Station, Jaisinghnagar, Anurag Gautam, son of Laxman Gautam, age 25 years, resident of Bargawan Chowki, Keshavhi Police Station, Budhar District, Shahdol (MP) and that the said cattle were being transported on the instructions of accused Mohit Singh, resident of Budhar, and accused Mohammed Shakeel alias Kallu Baba, resident of Byahari. The cattle were loaded by trader Arjun Rathore, resident of village Lapta. The cattle loaded in pickup vehicles MP18ZD1345, MP18ZC7454 and Sold had their horns and legs tied with ropes and were cruelly stuffed into the body of the pickup. In the case crime has also been registered against vehicle owners Piruddin father Sarfuddin resident Aamdih, Sheetal Rathore resident Chandpur.
There are total 07 accused in the case 1. Mohammad Kalam father Mohammad Raza Muslim age 27 years resident of Keshavhi Chowki Keshavhi Police Station Budhar, 2. Satyanarayan Dwivedi father Triveni Prasad Dwivedi age 40 years resident of Aamdih Police Station Jaisinghnagar, 3. Anurag Gautam father Laxman Gautam age 25 years resident of Bargawan Chowki Keshavhi Police Station Budhar District Shahdol (M.P.) 4. Accused Mohammad Shakeel alias Kallu Baba resident Byahari 5. Mohit Singh resident Budhar 6. Piruddin father Sarfuddin resident Aamdih, 7. Sheetal Rathore resident Chandpur under Section 11(g) of Animal Cruelty Act, M.P. Farmer Animal Protection Act. Violating sections 4,6,6 (a),9,10,11 and registration conditions of the Act, transporting cattle in a goods carrier and committing an offence under section 66/192A of the MV Act, crime numbers 333/2024, 334/2024, 335/2024 have been registered and taken up for investigation; investigation is being carried out on the remaining points.
In the said action, outpost in-charge Funaga sub-inspector Mr. Sumit Kaushik, PraR. 88 Umesh Kewat, R 345 Rakesh Kanase, 348 Veersingh Pal were involved.
