Jawar, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad protested fiercely in St. Peter's Senior Secondary School run by Christian community on Pipaloda Road, making serious allegations against the school administration. First, they raised slogans outside the school gate, then entered the school and removed the posters and calendars of Christian community from the school office and classrooms and put up Maa Saraswati's picture in their place and performed Bharat Mata ki Aarti. Meanwhile, on receiving the information, the police administration also reached the spot. There was a scuffle between ABVP workers and the police.
On Saturday morning, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad unit Jawar organized a protest and demonstration against the irregularities going on in St. Peter's School. ABVP officials alleged that in the Christian community's school, instead of making children doctors and engineers, emphasis is laid on making them nuns and fathers. Holi, Diwali or other festivals are not celebrated in the school, only Christmas is celebrated. There is a statue of a Christian goddess in the school, on which it is written that this is your mother. The school management tells the little children only about the gods and goddesses of the Christian community. Bharat Mata ki Jai is not raised after the morning prayer and the national anthem. The children are also forbidden from applying tilak or tying anything on their hands. In all the classes, only Christian posters and calendars are put up. There is not a single statue or photo of Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge. During the demonstration, the workers of the student council demanded that Bharat Mata ki Jai be chanted after the morning prayer, pictures of Christian deities from all the classrooms be removed and pictures of Bharat Mata and Maa Saraswati be put up. Apart from Christmas, festivals of other religions should also be celebrated in the school so that children also get knowledge of festivals and customs of all religions. The student council office bearers and workers stood firm in the rain and put up pictures of Bharat Mata and Maa Saraswati in the school office. After that, the workers of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad Jawara performed a collective aarti of Bharat Mata in the school office and the pictures of Christian deities from all the classrooms were also removed. During this, District Coordinator Satyam Dave, City Minister Ravish Chouradia along with the city executive office bearers and members were present.
