Lalbarra, Around 11 am on 26th August, in Balaghat-Seoni Highway No. 72 under Lalbarra area, vehicle number GJ 15 AT 3003, which was transporting rice from Allahabad to Balaghat, near district Gondia, suddenly fell into a ditch near Banjari Temple (Kanjai) and Mazar due to the bad condition of the highway. According to the information received, the driver narrowly saved himself by jumping out of the vehicle on the apprehension of a major accident. On receiving the news of the rice kept in the truck burning due to fire caused by the truck falling into the ditch, the passersby informed the Lalbarra police about it, Lalbarra police controlled the fire by calling a fire engine from Municipal Council Balaghat and controlled the growing fire and on searching for the driver, the driver was found missing from the spot. At the same time, the local people told that the driver came to Kanjai with the help of a passerby and after having tea and breakfast, went ahead somewhere.
