Lalbarra, as per the instructions of the government, under the 'Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao' scheme, International Girl Child Day is celebrated on 11 October every year, under which a 10-day program is to be organized from 2 October to 11 October, in the same series, on 3 October, in Government College Lalbarra, under the guidance of Women and Child Development Project Officer Mrs. Ranu Shivhare and under the leadership of Sector Supervisor Mrs. Madhuri Jain, about 50 girl students were given information related to the Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao scheme, in which education, nutrition, fundamental rights, health security, protection from discrimination, violence against women, child marriage, child begging, digital security, cyber security were explained through a cycle and detailed information was given on all the above topics. On this occasion, college principal Dr Suresh Khandate, Dr Sangeeta Ambade, Dr Kanti Jain, Dr Aniva Sharanagat, Sandeep Chaharsiya, Block Coordinator from Women and Child Development Mrs Sangeeta Janghele, Anganwadi worker Mrs Nisha Pardhi, Rajeshwari Ajit, Chitrarekha Chawle and about 50 girl students were present.
