Katni, A sensational and heart-wrenching incident has come to light in village Karahiya under Kuthla police station area of ​​Katni district. An unknown naked youth attacked a woman who had gone to pluck uradda in the field. The youth bit and scratched the woman's nose, ears and other parts of the body, due to which the woman was seriously injured.
The injured 45-year-old Guddi Bai, wife of Ramdas Dahiya, resident of Karahiya village of Kuthla police station area, had gone to work in the field like everyday. The woman's husband Ram Das and the injured's daughter Sanjo Bai told that an unknown youth came from behind in a naked state near the field and attacked her by biting her nose, ears, throat and chest. After the attack, the villagers reached the spot after hearing the woman's screams, but by then the youth had fled from there. The injured woman was brought to the district hospital in an unconscious state, where she was admitted and is undergoing treatment. Her condition remains critical. The doctor at the district hospital said that both the ears and nose of the woman have been separated due to the bites and there are deep bite marks on the chest of the woman due to which the condition of the woman remains critical. Katni CSP Neha Pachisiy said that on receiving information about this incident, the Kuthla police station reached the spot and started investigating the case. At present, the reason for the attack could not be ascertained due to the woman's mental state being unstable and distraught. The search for the accused who attacked has been started.
