Tribute was paid to Chandrashekhar Azad amidst the sound of over 40 drums
Alirajpur: Ahead of the proposed visit of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, the Congress Party held a grand rally in Chandrashekhar Azad Nagar. The rally started from the district headquarters and reached the historic Kutiya complex, where tributes were paid to the immortal martyr Chandrashekhar Azad. During this, the sound of over 40 drums and cymbals and patriotic slogans resonated throughout the city.
The rally was led by Jobat MLA Sena Mahesh Patel. He, along with party workers, paid floral tributes at the Kutiya complex and paid homage. In his address, MLA Patel said that Chandrashekhar Azad's sacrifice is an immortal saga of the country's independence. Born on this sacred land, he made the supreme sacrifice for the freedom of the motherland. It is our responsibility to preserve his memories.
The MLA demanded that the historic Kutiya complex be developed into the "Chandrashekhar Azad Palace," so that it can become a major center of history, tourism, and inspiration for the youth. He urged Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav to take a positive decision on this proposal.
The rally was attended by Block Congress President Harish Bhabar, District Vice President Laik Pathan, former Block President Madan Dawar, Rajesh Jain, Ashwin, Youth Congress Block President Vinay Vasunia, Kalu Narka, youth leader Mahendra Rawat, Sonu Verma, Juwan Singh, Kalu Bamniya, Manish Damor, Mayank Soni, Vishal Arora, Kapil Soni, Babu Mavi, Pintu Makwana, Abhay Singh, and hundreds of workers, villagers, and youth. The event concluded peacefully and conveyed a message of unity and cultural pride.
Following the event, MLA Sena Mahesh Patel also participated in the Bhagoria festival held in village Wadi. Here, she exchanged Bhagoria Holi greetings with Sarpanch Ritesh, Room Singh, Karam Singh Patel, Rakesh Chauhan, villagers, and workers.
Through the rally and program, the Congress party strongly demonstrated its organizational unity and commitment to preserving historical heritage in the region.
