A four-member medical team will visit diarrhea-affected villages of Maihar

Maihar, While informing about the information and situation of diarrhea and vomiting-diarrhea cases coming daily in villages Piprahat, Maudha, Harduasani, Jariyari, Delha etc. of Maihar district, Collector Maihar Mrs. Rani Batad had requested Commissioner Rewa Division BS Jamod to send a team of specialist doctors from Satna, Rewa Medical College for prevention and treatment of the disease. Commissioner Rewa Division BS Jamod has directed the Dean of Medical College Satna to immediately send a team of specialist doctors to Maihar district and work under the guidance of Collector Maihar. Meanwhile, Maihar Collector Rani Batad inspected the Gram Panchayat Delha of Maihar district on Monday. During the inspection, the health department team was instructed to go to every house and observe the health of the people and make people aware about the prevention of diarrhea. The collector said that ASHA and Anganwadi workers should check the affected people every 2 hours and distribute useful medicines and ORS by going door to door and also make a list of the affected people and do continuous monitoring. The collector directed to provide immediate means to the patients affected by diarrhea to reach Civil Hospital Maihar.
Advice to drink chlorinated water tanker
Maihar Collector Ranibatad met the diarrhea affected people and appealed to use only clean, pure chlorinated water tanker water for drinking. The Maihar Collector has also sought a detailed report from the Chief Medical and Health Officer of the district on the causes of the spread of diarrhea and the efforts and activities being done to prevent it. In the report presented to the Collector Maihar, CMHO Dr. LK Tiwari has advised the citizens of the affected villages to use only chlorinated water from water tankers sent by the local administration for drinking.
