'A better healthcare network will be built for everyone in Maharashtra'
Big announcement by CM Devendra Fadnavis
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Saturday that the state government's goal is to provide quality healthcare services to every citizen, no matter where he lives. For this, a complete healthcare network will be created. Chief Minister Fadnavis was addressing the 22nd edition of the Mumbai Live Endoscopy 2025 program. He said, 'Today Maharashtra is becoming a hub of healthcare services. All kinds of better medical facilities are available here. But now our aim is that these facilities should reach even the person living in the most remote areas of the state. For this we need the help of doctors like you and technology.'
Plan to provide healthcare to every corner
The Chief Minister said that the government wants to make such a scheme so that treatment can reach the people living in villages, mountains and forests. He informed that 10 new medical colleges have been opened in Maharashtra in the last two years. Its aim is to prepare as many doctors and health workers as possible. The CM further said- We need a large number of doctors and health workers so that treatment reaches every person. This is a sacred profession and we should take it as a service'.
Appeal to HN Reliance and doctors for cooperation
Chief Minister Fadnavis appealed to institutions like HN Reliance Hospital to participate in serving the poor. He said that the private sector and the government can do this work together. CM Fadnavis said, 'I hope that all of you, in your own way, will contribute to this mission and reach those who need us the most'.
Congratulations to GI Endoscopy Awards winners
The Chief Minister also congratulated the GI Endoscopy Award winners in this program and said that such awards inspire people. During this, the Chief Minister said, 'Every award inspires us to do better. Together we have to make a more meaningful contribution in the field of GI endoscopy.'
