3 counterfeiters arrested with fake notes worth Rs 2 lakh in Motihari

Motihari, Motihari police has busted the counterfeiters of fake notes. Under which three smugglers including the kingpin of fake notes have been arrested with fake notes worth Rs 2 lakh. The smugglers have been arrested from India Nepal border Haraiya OP area. Several central agencies are interrogating the arrested smuggler. It is coming to light that the arrested smuggler Najre Saddam has links with Pakistan.
According to the information received, the central agencies including the police were active for the last several months to nab the counterfeit note smuggler Najre Saddam. About a month ago also, the investigating agencies had received information about Najre Saddam coming to India from Nepal with a consignment of fake notes. Apart from the central agencies, the police was also constantly looking for him.
Motihari SP Kantesh Kumar Mishra received secret information that smuggler Najre Saddam was about to enter India from Nepal along with his other associates. After that, the SP formed a team and laid a trap and arrested three smugglers including Najre Saddam from Raxaul subdivision area. On searching them, Indian counterfeit notes worth about two lakh rupees were recovered from them. Police and investigation agencies are interrogating the arrested smugglers by keeping them at an unknown place.
It is being told that the IB had received information about Najre Saddam coming to India a month ago. After which the investigation agencies had made all the preparations for his arrest on the border, but the smuggler got a hint of this. Due to which Najre Saddam changed his plan and he did not come. However, all the central agencies including the police remained continuously active in the border area and finally the police succeeded in arresting Najre Saddam.
