Shajapur, As per the instructions of Madhya Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Jabalpur, National Lok Adalat was organized on Saturday in District Court Shajapur, Tehsil Shujalpur and District Court Agar-Malwa and Tehsil Court Susner and Nalkheda.
Under the guidance of Principal District and Sessions Judge Lalit Kishore, Lok Adalat was successfully organized at all places. Special Judge Mohammad Azhar visited the stalls of various departments and motivated the concerned officers to make every effort to resolve as many cases as possible and to get pleasant results through Lok Adalat. Also, while listening to the problems of the common people during the tour, he was advised to take advantage of the discounts provided by the Municipality, Electricity Department, Bank, BSNL Department in the National Lok Adalat. During the Lok Adalat, there was a crowd of people at the counters in the premises throughout the day. As per the instructions of the National Legal Services Authority, National Lok Adalat was organized at District and Tehsil Court, Shajapur and Tehsil Court Shujalpur on Saturday, March 9, 2024. A total of 15 benches including District Shajapur and Tehsil Shujalpur were constituted for the disposal of cases in the National Lok Adalat. About 825 cases were resolved in this. The award amount of about Rs 04 crore 10 lakh 58 thousand 920 was passed. Cases related to civil, criminal, family, chowk disrespect, labour, bank recovery etc. were also placed in Lok Adalat. According to the Secretary of District Authority Shajapur and District Judge Shri Rajendra Deora, 1277 cases were filed in the National Lok Adalat in the district. Out of these, 307 cases were resolved and award amount of Rs 03 crore 26 lakh 44 thousand 108 was passed. About 276 cases were resolved in this. Award amount of about Rs 2 crore 75 lakh 8 thousand 255 was passed. Cases related to civil, criminal, family, chowk disrespect, labour, bank recovery etc. were also placed in Lok Adalat. According to District Authority Shajapur Secretary and District Judge Rajendra Deora, 1025 cases were placed in the National Lok Adalat under District Agar-Malwa in the district. Out of these, 134 cases were resolved and award amount of Rs 51 lakh 11 thousand 627 was passed. 5004 pre-litigation cases were placed in Lok Adalat, out of which 142 cases were disposed of and awards worth Rs 1 crore 56 lakh 46 thousand 628 were passed. In the case before Sunaina Srivastava, the presiding officer of the division bench number 03 formed for the disposal of the cases, the victim woman and her husband were brought to the court in the ongoing case between the husband and wife regarding the husband's daily drinking and abuse, beatings and abuses. Due to the tireless efforts of advocates Ikrar Mansoori and Pankaj Jadhav, they got the resignation done by persuasion. In which, on the very first hearing, the judge and the advocate encouraged the complainant for reconciliation. As a result, the rift between them ended and inspired them to live happily ever after at home. On the occasion of the resignation in the National Lok Adalat, both of them garlanded each other in front of the judge and after taking blessings, they happily left for home. The presiding officer also advised him not to dispute again. Similarly, Dr. Swati Chauhan, the presiding officer of the bench number 07, formed to resolve the cases of domestic violence, also counseled the women suffering from domestic violence and their husbands and relatives and made them resign in many cases going on between husband and wife.
