Saharanpur. Madhu, 23-year-old daughter of Vinod, a resident of Jadauda Panda village of Badgaon police station in Saharanpur district, died due to snake bite. Around 11-12 pm at night, Madhu was bitten in her ear by a snake. When her condition worsened, the family came to know about her condition. First, the family took her to exorcists for exorcism, but when she did not get relief, the family took Madhu to the district hospital in the morning. Where Madhu died. Medical officials said that antivenom vaccine was available at Nanauta CHC. If Madhu's family had taken her directly to Nanauta CHC, her life could have been saved. Poonam was the eldest of three siblings. She was engaged. Her wedding was to take place on December 2, for which preparations were going on. CMO Dr. Praveen Kumar has warned people that in case of snake bite, they should immediately go to the government hospital. Antivenom vaccine is available in government hospitals. He said that people's lives can be saved by getting timely treatment.
