Saharanpur, today on the martyrdom day of Pandit Ram Prasad Bismil, Ashfaqulla Khan, Thakur Roshan Singh and Rajendra Lahiri, Mokshayatan Yoga Sansthan, Nation Builders Academy and Rashtra Vandana Mission collectively organized a tribute in honor of the martyrs of Kakori Kand. Addressing the event, Yoga Guru Padma Shri Swami Bharat Bhushan narrated many memories and said that the British government, scared of this unprecedented incident that happened on 9 August 1925, named it Kakori Kand, whereas this work done for the complete independence of India was a step taken with a big thought and determination, it would be appropriate to call it Kakori Kadam instead of Kakori Kand. The result of this organized step of the freedom lovers was that not a single agitator bowed down or broke down, whereas to break and terrorize the agitators, they were kept in different jails and Rajendra Nath Lahiri was hanged two days before the date of hanging on 19 December. Yoga Guru Bharat Bhushan said that this was the first mass hanging of India's freedom movement. He called these great revolutionaries Yogis and said that only Yogis who know the truth of birth and death can kiss the noose of death like this. He also remembered with reverence the great hero of this Kakori step Chandrashekhar Azad and the inspirational power Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati and while discussing their role, he said that Bismil and Ashfaq kept increasing their self-confidence to take the plan forward by staying in Arya Samaj Bhawan Shahjahanpur. On this occasion, very inspiring songs were made available to everyone by the national coordinator of the Rashtra Vandana Project and two-time President's Medal awarded police officer Vidyaranav Sharma, who has composed and composed the songs written by Pandit Ram Prasad Bismil and Ashfaqulla Khan and released them on CDs.
