While giving the memorandum, State General Secretary Asim Malik said that the Modi government at the Center is doing grave injustice to the farmers who provide food to the country. State General Secretary Asim Malik said that the country's food-providing farmers want to go to Delhi to talk to the government to solve their problems. They do not want a share in power. Prime Minister Modi should call the farmers to Delhi with respect and solve their problems. Asim Malik said that the country's food-providing farmers should get a profitable price for their crops, MSP should be made profitable by making it profitable and a guarantee law should be made, MNREGA scheme should be directly linked to farming and laborers should be made available to the farmers, all the loans of the farmers should be waived, elderly farmers and laborers above 58 years of age should be given a monthly old age pension of Rs 10,000, farming should be made profitable by implementing the report of Dr. MS Swaminathan Commission, sugarcane is the economic backbone of not only the country but all the states, the profitable price of sugarcane should be declared immediately as ₹ 700 per quintal. Addressing the farmers, State Vice President of Bhartiya Kisan Union, Verma, Mohammad Zaheer Turki said that even the British rule might not have done so much injustice to the farmers as the BJP government at the centre and state is doing today. Sugarcane farmers work hard and produce sugarcane for a year, when they put it in the sugar mills. So it is up to the sugar mill owners whether to pay or not. Mohammad Zaheer Turki said that the BJP's Modi government should not do so much injustice to the farmers and should solve all the problems of the farmers. Stray animals and Nilgai are destroying the crops of the farmers, for which the government is not taking any concrete steps. Sugar mills are rampantly underweighing. If the problems of the farmers are not solved soon, then the Annadaata farmers will hold a big movement across the country. State Organization Minister of Bhartiya Kisan Union, Verma, Dharamveer Chaudhary said that the sugarcane payment of last year is still pending on the sugar mills of Uttar Pradesh and the interest on the sugarcane payment made in the previous years is pending on the sugar mill owners of thousands of crores of rupees. The government is not taking any concrete steps to get it. On the contrary, transport charges are being deducted from the farmers, which is a blatant violation of the Sugar Control Order 1966.
