Under the Inspire Award Scheme, students will be able to put forward their innovative ideas

Saharanpur, District Magistrate Manish Bansal informed that under the Inspire Standard Scheme 2024-25 started by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India for the students, students studying in council and secondary schools will be able to put forward their innovative ideas. A unique initiative has been taken in the Inspire Award Standard Scheme with the aim of encouraging them. Students interested in science can apply till September 15. Online applications have been sought by the Department of Science and Technology under the Inspire Award Standard Scheme. Under the scheme, the headmasters of the institutions recognized at the district level will be able to apply online for classes six to eight at the basic level and the principals at the secondary level for classes nine and 10 on the web portal of the Department of Science and Technology. Those students from class six to 10 will be able to participate, who are interested in science and want to pursue higher studies in science related research. To encourage them, the Department of Science and Technology will send Rs. 10,000 online to their bank accounts. The students who will receive the award money will make science project models which will be displayed in the district-level Inspire Award Science Exhibition. Five to 10 percent of the participants in the exhibition will be selected for the state-level Inspire Award Science Exhibition. 10 percent of the participants in the state-level exhibition will be selected for the National Science Exhibition1.
