Saharanpur, Under the special communicable disease control Dastak campaign being run by the health department in Saharanpur district, teams reached more than 2.71 lakh houses. Teams in different block areas made people aware about communicable diseases. Maximum 90 fever patients were found in Dastak campaign. The Health Department is running a special communicable disease control campaign from April 1. The Dastak campaign was started from April 10, under which 3129 teams of the department are going to every block and knocking door to door. There are Asha and Anganwadi workers in the team. Till now the teams have reached 2 lakh 71 thousand 100 houses. Samples of the members of the houses whose symptoms of fever were found were taken. During the campaign from April 10 to 20, no case of dengue-malaria was found, while fever was confirmed in 90 people. Apart from these, six children were found malnourished. A meeting was held with 930 women, in which they were made aware about communicable diseases. On the other hand, District Malaria Officer Shivanka Gaur said that the teams have already surveyed more than 2.71 lakh houses in the Dastak campaign.
