Saharanpur | Deoband, two separate reports have been filed by the Valmiki community and the police in the firing incident between two parties on the cremation ground last Saturday. In which a case has been registered against 22 named and 55 unknown people. While two accused have been arrested. On the complaint of Avinash of Valmiki community in the firing incident, the police have registered a case against Yuvraj, resident of Dugchada village, Bunty, Sachin, resident of Mirgpur, Abhishek Tyagi, resident of Ghalauli village, Saurabh, Rajat, resident of village Jola of Nagal police station area and Tanzeem Khan, Dilnawaz, Naushad, Rahul and Priyanshu, residents of Mohalla Shahjilal of Deoband, besides 20 unknown people. The police have arrested Tanzeem Khan and Bunty and presented them before the court. While police teams are raiding Dehradun, Muzaffarnagar and other cities to arrest the absconding accused. On the other hand, the police has registered a report against 11 people named Rahul, Sawan, Akash, Deepak Chanchal, Ashish, Avinash, Aniket, Sunny, Kuldeep, Vineet, Deepak etc. residents of Valmiki Basti on the charges of attacking each other with weapons with the intention of occupation and creating an atmosphere of terror. Which also includes 55 unidentified people.

State Minister Kunwar Brijesh Singh reached among the people of Valmiki community and assured them of taking appropriate action in the said case. Talking to journalists, he said that some anti-social elements had tried to occupy the land by tampering with the documents. Due to which a clash took place. On receiving the information, the police immediately reached the spot. An FIR has been registered against those who carried out the incident. The respect of the Valmiki community will be maintained by getting the land records of the said land investigated. The government is committed to take action against land mafia. On the other hand, municipal sanitation workers went on strike today demanding action against the accused. Due to which heaps of garbage have piled up in the city. Due to garbage spread on the roads, it has become difficult to walk in the neighborhoods and markets.

Safai Karamcharis say that their strike will continue until the accused are arrested and the cases against the people of Valmiki society are not canceled.
