Saharanpur, The health department is already on alert mode to deal with dengue this time. 113 beds have been reserved at community health centers including SBD District Hospital. Beds will be increased if needed. There will be medicines and mosquito nets for the patients in the ward. Special care has been taken of cleanliness. Last year, 435 dengue patients were found in the district. As the heat increases, the outbreak of mosquitoes has started increasing. Larvae have also started growing, which can become a threat in the coming days. At present, the matter of relief is that no case of dengue has been found yet. At the same time, like every time, this time also the Health Department has started coordination with the departments so that all preparations can be made before dengue. Last year, a record 435 dengue patients were found. An eight-bed ward has been reserved for dengue patients in SBD District Hospital. Apart from this, five beds each have been reserved at community health centers like Deoband, Sarsawa, Fatehpur, Nakur, Nanauta, Rampur Maniharan, Gangoh, Nagal etc. Along with this, the Health Department has placed about 46 villages in the sensitive category regarding dengue. Department teams will reach these from Monday. Where people will be given information about prevention from dengue as well as about cleanliness. This time the department is leaving no stone unturned. We are busy making all the preparations a month in advance so that dengue can be dealt with in the coming days. District Malaria Officer Shivanka Gaur said that the department has started preparations regarding dengue. Separate wards have been made for dengue patients in district hospitals and community health centres. Of these, 113 beds are reserved. The number of beds will be increased if needed.
