New Delhi, Indian Railways has decided to run special trains from Delhi to many cities of Bihar in view of Diwali and Chhath Puja, which will run between 24 October and 6 November. These trains will stop at many stations. This will facilitate the people of many cities of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh to go home during the festival.

According to Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway, Saraswati Chandra, train number 02250/02249 Delhi-Patna-Delhi Superfast Festival Special Express will be run. Train number 02250 Delhi-Patna Superfast Festival Special Express will run from Delhi on 24 and 31 October and will reach Patna Junction via Govindpuri, Prayagraj, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, Ara, Danapur. In the return journey, 02249 Patna-Delhi Superfast Festival Special Express will depart from Patna on 25 October and 1 November and will stop at the same stations and reach Delhi.

Delhi-Barauni-New Delhi Festival Special

Train number 04054/04053 New Delhi-Barauni-New Delhi Festival Special will be run. Train number 04054 New Delhi-Barauni Festival Special will depart from New Delhi on 27, 30 October, 2 and 5 November and will reach Barauni via Govindpuri, Prayagraj, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Buxar, Ara, Patna Junction, Mokama. In the return journey, 04053 Barauni-New Delhi Festival Special will depart from Barauni on 28 and 31 October, 3 and 6 November and will reach Delhi via the same stations.

New Delhi-Jayanagar Festival Special
Train number 04052/04051 New Delhi-Jayanagar-New Delhi Festival Special will be run. 04052 New Delhi-Jayanagar Festival Special will leave from New Delhi on 26, 29 October, 01 and 04 November and will reach Jaynagar via Govindpuri, Prayagraj, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar, Ara, Patna Junction, Mokama, Barauni, Samastipur, Darbhanga. In return, train no. 04051 Jaynagar-New Delhi Festival Special will leave from Jaynagar on 27 and 30 October, 02 and 05 November and will reach Delhi via the same stations.
