Saharanpur. A meeting of the District Urban Development Agency District Governing Body was convened in the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Saharanpur Manish Bansal. In the meeting, he said that the NOC for the proposed construction works under the Chief Minister Urban Underdeveloped and Slum Settlement Scheme should be taken from the concerned urban body. The work which is 75 percent complete should be completed 100 percent soon. He directed to get proposals from public representatives for new works. He said that no raw construction work should be done in unauthorized colonies. Due to the difference in the target allocated and loan distribution under PM Street Vendors Self-Reliant Fund PM Swanidhi Scheme, he directed that the 100 percent target should be completed as soon as possible by establishing coordination with the banks. In the schemes included under Swanidhi se Samriddhi Yojana, the target should be achieved 100% and the benefits of PM Suraksha Bima Yojana and PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana should be told to the general public and they should be encouraged to apply by publicizing it. If there is difference in the number of beneficiaries in the first, second and third payment under PM Awas Yojana, then all the Executive Officers were instructed to visit the spot by tomorrow evening and inspect it. Along with this, if the construction work is 100% complete, then a certificate should be provided by PO DUDA as to why its geotag was not done by the concerned company. Better places should be identified for urban street vendors. On this occasion, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Praveen Kumar, Project Officer District Urban Development Agency Ved Prakash Yadav, all Executive Officers and other concerned officers were present.
