Saharanpur | Deoband, Police has arrested two accused including a history sheeter in the case of theft at two different places. Police has sent both the arrested accused to jail. Police has also recovered stolen goods including a bike without number plate used in the theft from the accused. Police arrested Ahsan and Naveed, residents of village Banhera Khas, in the case of theft. Deoband Kotwali in-charge Sanjeev Kumar said that on May 10, Pintu, a resident of Maqbara village, had lodged a case in Kotwali Deoband regarding theft in his house and on July 3, Bobby Kumar, a resident of Kurdi village, had lodged a case in Kotwali Deoband regarding theft of wheat from the barn. The police team has arrested both the cunning thieves today. He said that a motorcycle without number plate used in the theft, 40 kg wheat and cash worth Rs 1500 along with other goods have been recovered from the accused. Kotwali in-charge Sanjeev Kumar said that Ahsan is a history-sheeter against whom 18 cases including animal cruelty, Arms Act, Gangster are registered in Deoband police station. Both have been presented before the court and sent to jail.
