Saharanpur | Nagal, the youth do anything to make the ceremony of bringing the bride home a memorable one. A similar case was seen in Bhalswa Isapur where a groom went to pick up the bride in a bulldozer. It was the marriage of the daughter of Naresh, resident of Bhalswa Isapur. The procession was to arrive from Bhatkhedi in the morning, preparations were going on to welcome the procession. The procession reached the village at around 8 o'clock. People were surprised to see a decorated bulldozer at the front of the convoy of cars included in the procession. On going closer, I saw that the groom himself had come riding in a bulldozer. A crowd of villagers gathered to see the groom arriving with a bulldozer to pick up the bride. Bhatkhedi resident Ankit, who became the groom, greeted all the villagers with folded hands and blessed them. Ankit told that he wanted to do something new to make his wedding memorable, due to which he went to pick up the bride with a bulldozer.
