Saharanpur | Deoband, The Doon Valley Public School organized a grand tricolor rally on the occasion of 78th Independence Day. Chief Guest S.D.M. Deoband Ankur Verma, Tehsildar Deoband Pushpankar Dev, Deoband Municipal Council President Vipin Garg, BJP City President Arun Gupta, Naib Tehsildar Dhirendra Prajapati, S.S.I. Deoband Ajay Kumar, School Chairman Rajkishore Gupta and Principal Seema Sharma flagged off the rally by cutting the ribbon, breaking coconut and flagging off the rally for the city tour. The main objective of the tricolor rally was to awaken the spirit of patriotism and refresh the memories of the great struggles of independence. The students participated in the rally dressed up in the costumes of various freedom fighters of India, which was the center of attraction for the spectators. Along with this, while singing patriotic songs, the students raised slogans of Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Vande Mataram, which created a wave of patriotism in the entire atmosphere. This rally passed through the main roads of the city, awakening the spirit of nationalism in the minds of the people, and ended back at the school, raising slogans full of patriotism. The city dwellers also participated in this rally with great enthusiasm and appreciated it. Addressing the students, SDM Deoband Ankur Verma said that Independence Day is not just a festival, but an occasion when we all should remember those great heroes who sacrificed their lives to give us this freedom. The Doon Valley Public School Chairman Rajkishore Gupta and Principal Seema Sharma inspired the students to perform their duties towards the country and said that the young generation has an important role in building the bright future of India. They also appealed to everyone to make the door-to-door Tiranga Abhiyan a success for the awakening of national sentiment.
