Swearing in tomorrow in MP-Chhattisgarh, PM Modi will attend
Mohan Yadav and Vishnu Dev Sai will take oath as CM
New Delhi, After the announcement of the names for the post of Chief Minister in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, now preparations for the swearing in program have started. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the swearing-in program of these two states. PM Modi will first reach Madhya Pradesh at 11.30 am, where Mohan Yadav will take oath as CM. After this, PM Modi will reach Chhattisgarh at 4 pm, where Vishnu Dev Sai will take oath as CM.
Last Monday, the BJP legislature party elected Chouhan Cabinet member Yadav as its leader in the presence of central observers, paving the way for him to take charge as the next Chief Minister. The BJP retained power in Madhya Pradesh in the assembly elections held on November 17 by winning 163 seats in the 230-member assembly, while the Congress came second with 66 seats. Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangu Bhai Patel invited Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislature party leader Mohan Yadav to form the government in the state and handed him a letter regarding his appointment as the next Chief Minister.
In the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the new Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Vishnu Dev Sai and cabinet members will take oath on Wednesday, December 13. Officials gave this information on Monday. Officials said that the swearing-in ceremony will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday at the Science College grounds in the capital Raipur.
He told that along with Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President J. Chief Ministers and senior leaders of many states including P. Nadda, Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Chhattisgarh state in-charge Om Mathur, co-in-charge Nitin Nabin will be present. Sai, the prominent tribal face of the BJP in the state, was elected the leader of the legislature party during the meeting of 54 newly elected BJP MLAs here on Sunday.
