The special train, called “Jagriti Yatra”, operated by Mumbai-based Jagriti Seva Sansthan, sets out on a 15-day long journey in India only once every year. This journey not only inspires the youth but also works to shape their career and the future of the country. More than 75,000 youth, who come from 23 countries, have participated in this initiative started in 2008.

The main objective of Jagriti Yatra is to provide a platform to young entrepreneurs, where they can connect with each other, network and get guidance from experts from various fields. Most of the passengers joining this train journey are young entrepreneurs, who are guided by more than 100 experts (gurus) to explain the opportunities and challenges available in India. During the journey, important topics like agriculture, education, energy, health, manufacturing, arts, water and sanitation, and culture are discussed.

The train travels 8000 km, passing through 10 to 12 major cities. This year, starting from Mumbai on November 16, the Jagriti Yatra will pass through cities like Hubli, Bengaluru, Madurai, Chennai, Visakhapatnam and Delhi and end in Ahmedabad on December 1.

During the journey, 500 passengers become a part of this unique journey, making it one of the most special and longest journeys in the world.
