Saharanpur. Sadhus and saints associated with Sangh-BJP and thousands of people at South City ground expressed deep concern over attacks, vandalism, arson, looting and violent incidents on Hindu temples by fundamentalists in Bangladesh and handed over a memorandum addressed to the President to City Magistrate Gajendra Singh.

Today around 11-12 in the morning, thousands of people gathered at the ground. Many Sadhus and Saints including Sudarshan Chakra, Rajkumar Ravidasi, Bunty Das, Dipankar were present on the stage. In front, the present and former MLAs of BJP, Mayor Dr. Ajay Singh, former Mayor Sanjeev Walia and officials associated with Sangh-BJP were sitting among the people. In the memorandum, it was demanded that the government should take all necessary steps for the safety of Hindus in Bangladesh. The international community should immediately pay attention to the incidents of human rights violation in Bangladesh. Hindus in Bangladesh should be given the freedom to practice their religion and worship freely.

A crowd of thousands marched from the meeting place to submit a memorandum to the District Magistrate, but at a distance of 250 meters, the organizers submitted the memorandum to the officer appointed by the administration. As a precaution, traffic was diverted in this area.
