Saharanpur, Deepak Gupta, founder secretary of Saharanpur District Judo Association, said that while representing Uttar Pradesh in Khelo India Youth Games held in Patna, Bihar from 04 to 08 May, Shagun Kashyap of Saharanpur has made the district and the state proud by winning the bronze medal. It is known that in the past too, Shagun has won many medals for the district and the state in many nationals. Deepak Gupta said that she qualified for Khelo India by winning a medal in Junior Nationals. On Shagun's achievement, the organization's president Dr. Surendra Sharma, vice president Pankaj Bansal, joint secretary Pankaj Malhotra, Sanjay Gupta, Anil Agarwal, Sanjeev Gupta, Dheeraj Jain, Vivek Garg, Vinay Jindal, Sushma Singh, Pradeep Kumar and Shagun's coach Sonu Singh congratulated her and wished her to work harder and win the gold medal next time.
