The payment for the first quarter of the current financial year 2024-25 in the destitute women pension scheme will be made through Aadhaar base payment from the month of June. District Probation Officer Abhishek Kumar Pandey said that it is mandatory for all the beneficiaries' accounts to be linked to Aadhaar card. Along with this, the accounts of all the beneficiaries should be updated under NPCI, which will be done by the concerned bank. He said that all those beneficiaries who are receiving benefits under the Destitute Women Pension (Widow Pension) Scheme after the death of their husband, whose KYC and NPCI are not updated in their bank accounts, should go to their respective bank branch as soon as possible and get KYC and NPCI updated in their bank accounts so that the installment of the first quarter of the financial year 2024-25 can be transferred to the account through Aadhaar based payment.
