Saharanpur, A truck crushed a bike rider on the Delhi Highway, resulting in his death on the spot. After the accident, there was chaos in the family of the deceased. According to the information received, a young man riding a bike died in a collision with a truck last night near village Jandhera Samaspur on Delhi Highway in Rampur Maniharan 0.I-[=--] of Saharanpur district. There was chaos in the family due to the death of the young man. The driver fled leaving the truck on the spot. According to the information, Anuj (22), son of Raju, resident of Ghatheda village of Rampur police station, was going to Gagalheri for some work on a bike. As soon as he reached near village Jandhera Samaspur on Delhi Highway, the bike rider collided with a truck coming at high speed from Saharanpur side. Anuj died on the spot in the accident. Police reached the spot after receiving information and sent the body for post-mortem. The youth's uncle Sanjeev has filed a complaint against the truck driver in Rampur police station demanding action. Police station in-charge Narendra Kumar Sharma said that action is being taken after registering a report.
