Police stopped the farmers who came out to block the railway track in Deoband

Deoband | Saharanpur, The farmers of Bharatiya Kisan Union (Verma), who were coming to block the railway track in Deoband on the call of United Kisan Morcha regarding the problems of farmers, were stopped by the police at Talheri. During this, the farmers raised slogans and handed over the memorandum sent to the President to the SDM. Under the leadership of BKU (Verma) National President Bhagat Singh Verma, the farmers gathered in Khedamugal village. From here he set out in vehicles to block the Deoband railway track. When he reached Talheri, the police already present there stopped him. There was a heated argument between the farmers and the police regarding this. During this, Bhagat Singh Verma said that the central and state governments are playing with the honor and dignity of the farmers. Which will not be tolerated. Governments are deliberately not solving the problems of farmers. Verma said that the struggle of the United Kisan Morcha will continue until the problems are resolved. In the memorandum sent to the President, farmers made other demands including increasing the price of sugarcane to Rs 600 per quintal, guarantee of MSP on crops, linking of MNREGA scheme with accounts and giving pension of Rs 10,000 per month to elderly farmers. During this, Manoj Kumar, Ikram, Haji Suleman, Hariom Pal, Amardeep Sunny, Om Singh, Vinay Kumar, Dr. Ashok Malik, Sonu Prajapati and Irshad, Hafiz Murtaza Tyagi, Rishipal Pradhan, Master Raees, Sardar Gurvinder Singh etc. were present.
