Police arrested three notorious drug smugglers who were smuggling illegal poppy powder

Saharanpur, Gangoh Kotwali Police of Saharanpur district has recovered more than one quintal poppy powder and two vehicles from the possession of three drug smugglers. According to Gangoh Kotwali Police, on the information of the informer, the police succeeded in catching the members of the drug smuggling gang near Teetron Tiraha. Apart from 106 kg poppy powder, one truck and one car have also been recovered from them. These people told the police that the truck runs in the postal parcel of a transport company and through that they smuggle and supply the goods to hotels and dhabas. Police has registered a case under NDPS against the accused Sanjay, resident of Nanheda, Nakur, Gurpreet, resident of Sikheda and Sadiq, resident of Kaserwa, Shahpur and sent them to jail. SSP Dr. Vipin Tada has also announced a cash reward of Rs 25,000 to the police team that catches the drug smugglers.
