Saharanpur (Gangoh). Police has arrested four members of an interstate gang involved in stealing motorcycles. However, during this time, two of their associates managed to escape. Police also recovered 13 bikes stolen from different places from the arrested accused. A report was filed against the accused and they were presented in the court. CO Ruchi Gupta said that on the information of the informer, the police team under the leadership of Kotwali in-charge HN Singh was checking near Bijlighar intersection on Nakur Road. Then when six people coming on bikes were stopped, they started running. Police chased and caught four youths, while their two associates escaped. Akash son Ramesh, Mohit son Sethpal, Anand son Chandrapal, resident of village Salarpura and Anshul son Satpal, resident of village Kalarheri, who were caught, said that they steal bikes in Haryana, Uttarakhand and nearby districts. They remove parts of stolen bikes and sell them at cheap rates. Based on their information, police recovered 13 stolen bikes from various places. It was told that all the accused are vicious criminals. Cases are registered against them in various police stations of the district.
