Saharanpur, In compliance with the instructions of District Magistrate Saharanpur Manish Bansal, an inspection was done by a team formed for immediate disposal to prevent waterlogging in the Maa Shakumbhari Devi University campus. The team informed that there was no waterlogging in the university campus today and for a permanent solution regarding water drainage in future, it was decided that by making sump well, water should be dropped into Dhamola drain through a drain by pump and 240 meter drain should be made parallel to the boundary wall in the university campus and 260 meter drain should be made outside the boundary wall along the ridge of the farmers' fields by acquiring land by the university. During the inspection, Sub-District Magistrate Sadar Yuvraj Singh, Executive Engineers R.K. Singh and Mahipal Singh from PWD, Assistant Engineer Akash Uttam, Junior Engineer Vivek Pundir from University, Consultants Sonu Pathak and Ravi Bhardwaj, Bharat Grover from the contractor were present.
