Saharanpur, A review meeting of development works for the month of December was convened in the Circuit House auditorium under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Atal Kumar Rai on the basis of CM Dashboard. Divisional Commissioner Atal Kumar Rai directed the Labor Department to train all construction workers to build earthquake resistant buildings. He said that after training, those workers should be given certificates. He directed all the implementing agencies to give priority to these workers in building construction related works. He directed the Electricity Department not to unnecessarily harass electricity consumers. He said that the wrong electricity bills of consumers should be minimized. OTS scheme should be widely publicized through various mediums. Electricity bills should also be deposited through Panchayat Sahayaks so that the general public does not have to make unnecessary rounds of offices. He said that ensure that the work done by the women of self-help groups is paid on time. Ensure online geo-tagging to avoid duplication of roads built by various departments. The timetable of the visit of the mobile medical unit should be publicized. He directed the Jal Nigam to restore the roads broken under the Jal Jeevan Mission in a quality manner. Expressing strong displeasure over the working style of Jal Jeevan Mission, he directed to improve the working style. Ensure that helpline numbers are written in every Gram Panchayat for improvement in pipeline linkage. He gave instructions to improve the ranking. Gave strict instructions to increase the quality of education in primary schools. Under the Nipun exam, teachers of schools with poor ranking should be identified and notices should be issued to them. Also, teachers of schools doing good work should be encouraged and honored. Girls of Kasturba Gandhi School should be encouraged to participate in district level competitions so that they can develop holistically. Attention should be paid to quality education. Teachers should teach children in a communication style that attracts them so that their attraction towards school increases. Atal Kumar Rai directed that payments related to cow shelters should be made on time. He directed the officials that every eligible person should get the benefit of beneficiary-oriented schemes. He said that the rejected applications in social welfare schemes should be checked randomly so that no eligible person is deprived of the benefits of the scheme. He said that all divisional and district level officers should make continuous efforts to keep the ranking of the division at a higher level. While directing, he said that the intention of the government is that the eligible person and family should get the benefit of the schemes in a timely manner. For the 15th Finance Commission, the CDO should review by calling a meeting of the Area Panchayat and District Panchayat. All divisional level officers should ensure that all three districts remain in the top 10 ranks. He directed that divisional level officers should inspect the district level offices and also provide the inspection report. While reviewing the development works, Divisional Commissioner Atal Kumar Rai said that all officers should improve their working methods to remove the complaints of the common people.
