In the direction of positive implementation of the farmer-friendly policy of the state government, the District Cooperative Central Bank Jagdalpur serving under the entire Bastar division has provided micro ATM facility in all 258 Lamps committees of the division. Due to which the farmers selling paddy at the support price are getting the benefit of other facilities along with withdrawing up to Rs 10 thousand at a time. In this direction, micro ATM machines have been distributed to the Lamps managers of Bastar division through Cooperative Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap.

In view of the need of the farmers of Bastar division, with the meaningful efforts of Collector Bastar and Authorized Officer District Cooperative Central Bank Shri Haris S, the availability of micro ATM machines has been ensured by the District Cooperative Central Bank Jagdalpur in 258 Lamps committees of all the seven districts of Bastar division. Through these machines, farmers are getting benefited from various facilities from cooperative societies near their homes. Under which facilities like cash withdrawal up to Rs 10 thousand, cash deposit up to Rs 20 thousand, transfer of amount up to Rs 40 thousand to other account of District Cooperative Bank, balance inquiry, mini statement and ATM card PIN change are included. CEO District Cooperative Central Bank Mr. KS Dhruv said that through these micro ATM machines, farmers have been freed from visiting remote bank branches for their financial needs. At present, paddy procurement work is going on in the support price of the government, with the start of micro ATM facility, farmers are also getting the withdrawal of the amount of their produce in the societies itself.
