Saharanpur. Deoband, ancient, historical and traditional Shri Krishna Shobha Yatra was taken out with great joy and pomp in Deoband city. Shri Krishna Shobha Yatra started with Havan-Yagna and installation of Dharma Dhwaj on Lord's golden chariots by State Minister Brijesh Singh at Ved Gyan Shri Krishna Rathshala located in Mohalla Chhimpiwada of Deoband city. Dharma Dhwaj was installed on the top of Shri Krishna Rathshala building by business leader and social worker Deepak Garg with religious rituals. Thereafter, the chief host State Minister Brijesh Singh was presented with Angavastra, garland and a memento by Thakurdwara Temple Committee. Maples Academy Chairman Ajay Mittal was also honoured with a garland, a shawl and a memento. On this occasion, BJP City President Arun Gupta, District Cooperative Bank Chairman Chaudhary Rajpal Singh, senior social worker Vinod Gupta, Maples Director Alok Garg, City Union Driver Yogendra Goyal, Councilor Ravindra Chaudhary, Rajkishore Gupta, Deepak Raj Singhal etc., besides temple committee officials and members and a large number of devotees and citizens were present. Thereafter, the Lord's chariots were brought to the Temple Thakurdwara via Mohalla Chahparas, Halwai Hatta, Main Bazaar with a band and a kirtan group. From Shri Krishna Rathshala to Temple Thakurdwara, the charioteer of the golden chariot was Rakesh Singhal-Paras Singhal and the charioteer of Laddu Gopal ji's Prasad chariot was Sanjay Singhal-Dr. Anmol Singhal. While earlier in the evening, among those who received religious benefits by bidding the highest bids and serving on the Lord's chariots in the Sri Krishna procession, Pawan Kumar Pal and family members got the privilege of becoming the charioteer by bidding the highest of one lakh 61 thousand rupees on the golden chariot. While the bid for waving the fan on the right side was received by Vikas Garg Kailashpuram for 41 thousand rupees and the bid for waving the fan on the left side was received by Vishal Gupta-Nitin Gupta CA for 41 thousand. Priyanshu Garg, Dhruv Garg got the privilege of serving as the charioteer on Laddu Gopal ji's chariot for 51 thousand rupees and Vikas Garg for 32 thousand rupees for distributing prasad on the right side and Rishabh Garg, Kailashpuram got the privilege by bidding 35 thousand rupees for distributing prasad on the left side. Nitin Sharma son of late Pandit Fakir Chand got the opportunity to serve by bidding the highest of 25 thousand rupees for serving Munim ji. The bid for the golden chariot from Rathashala to Temple Thakurdwara was 11 thousand rupees and the bid for Prasad Rath was 4 thousand one hundred rupees. The bidding was jointly conducted by Rajiv Gupta and Radheshyam Garg. The Sri Krishna Rath procession started in the evening from Shri Panchayati Thakurdwara Temple Main Bazaar with Lord Krishna and Radha Rani Ji idols seated on the golden chariot with attractive bands, dozens of beautiful tableaux, and kirtan troupes. The procession reached the historic and ancient temple of Sri Radha Vallabh sect located in Kayasthwada via Tehsil Dhal, Anaaj Mandi, Tanga Stand, Main Bazaar, Sarasata Bazaar, Sarafa Bazaar, Hanuman Chowk, Janakpuri. Where devotees worshipped Lord Krishna and Radha Ji and Prasad was distributed. From here, the procession reached the huge ground of Sri Devikund late at night via Mangalore Road, GT Road. Where the killing of Kansa was staged. From there, late in the night, the procession passed through Mohalla Shahji Lal, Tankan, Lahaswada Chowk and Main Bazaar and concluded back at the temple Shri Thakurdwara. Let us tell you that this procession has been taking place in the Deoband city for more than 125 years. The procession here has its own history and significance. The procession in Deoband takes place on Dashami, two days after Shri Krishna Janmashtami. It is managed by Shri Panchayati Thakurdwara Sabha. Thousands of people participated in the procession. A large number of relatives and acquaintances from outside the Deoband city also came here and participated in the procession and got the good fortune of seeing Prabhu Ji Thakur Ji Maharaj and Radha Rani Ji. A large number of devotees including Shri Panchayati Thakurdwara Sabha President Vinod Prakash Gupta, Treasurer Ashok Gupta, Deputy Minister Sushil Kumar Gupta, Mukesh Kumar Garg, Shravan Kumar Singhal, Ajay Garg, Pankaj Garg, Amit Singhal Advocate, Senior Journalist Gaurav Singhal, Rakesh Singhal, Rishipal Kashyap, Rajkishore Gupta, Ashutosh Gupta, Yogendra Goyal, Senior Journalist Surendra Singhal, Rajiv Gupta, Tanuj Garg, Raju Saini, Arun Agarwal participated in the procession. Hundreds of temple management committees and their associates and many social-business organizations contributed in organizing the procession. From the security point of view, the procession was under the supervision and strict monitoring of the district police-administration and local officials SDM Deoband Ankur Verma, CO Deoband Ashok Kumar Sisodia, Deoband Kotwali Inspector Sanjeev Kumar, In-charge of Railway Road Police Post of Deoband Rajan Pundir. There was tremendous enthusiasm in Deoband city and area throughout the day regarding this procession.
