Bhartiya Kisan Union's National President Rakesh Tikait, who came to the Kisan Mahapanchayat on Saturday on Marhara Road in Etah, gave the mantra of staying united to the farmers for the fight for their rights. Said that if you divide, you will be looted. The central and state governments had talked about doubling the income of farmers, but the income did not double. The debt definitely doubled.

Regarding the scuffle in the Parliament premises, the National President said that this is the first incident in the history of the country that a report was filed against a big leader on the basis of a complaint. This has led to the downfall of the dignity of the Parliament.

In the Mahapanchayat, he said that the right price of the produce we grow in the field does not reach us. Middlemen take their share in between. Farmers are not able to get urea, DAP. The government wants the farmers to get upset and sell their land to it.

Said that stay united, the government will rob us. A big movement is going to start soon from Delhi. He said that circle rates have not been increased since 2013. While the government is constantly acquiring the land of farmers, circle rates should be increased. There is no talk on this. Nothing happens on the report of the Farmers Commission.

Raising local issues, he said that pipelines are being laid for water in the district. Land is being acquired. Its price should be paid. Like GAIL has paid while laying the pipeline. Senior BJP leaders Murli Manohar Joshi, Advani who always used to talk about the interests of farmers were sidelined.
