Deoband (Saharanpur), the people of a family in Deoband have demanded the police to get rid of the terror of interest mafias or else give permission for euthanasia along with the family. Shankar son of Dharampal, a resident of Maqbara Road, Deoband, reached the police station with his family and gave a complaint to the police. He told that he had taken some loan on interest from three mafias of the area. Shankar says that he has returned all the money including the interest but the harassment of the interest mafia is not stopping. It is alleged that the said mafia is threatening to kill him and lock his house if he does not pay the money. Shankar said that the financial condition of his family is not good. There is a shortage of even food in his house. He should be freed from the interest mafias or else he should be given permission for euthanasia along with his family. Kotwali incharge Sanjeev Kumar says that the matter is being investigated on the basis of the complaint.
