Horrific road accident in Hathras, UP
Truck collides with van, 7 killed including 3 women
A horrific road accident has taken place in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh, in which 7 people have lost their lives. The accident happened due to the collision of a truck with a pickup van, in which 7 people including three women and three men lost their lives. The accident took place on the Mathura-Kasganj highway. All the people who lost their lives were going towards Etah.
Hathras District Magistrate Ashish Kumar, while talking to news agency ANI, said, 'A family was going to Etah in a pickup, when this accident happened. 7 people have died in the accident. 6 others have been referred and 7 are admitted in the district hospital. Further investigation is on…'
On the other hand, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also announced compensation for those who lost their lives and the injured in the accident. The Chief Minister has announced financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 each to the seriously injured.
Taking cognizance of the accident, the Chief Minister directed the officials to immediately reach the spot and expedite the relief work. The Chief Minister has also given instructions for proper treatment of the injured. He has also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
