Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel participated in the kit distribution ceremony to Anganwadi centers organized at Rainbow Public School. Under this, pre-school kit material was distributed at 325 Anganwadi centres. The kit includes tricycle, swinging horse, numbers, ABCD, fruits, animals, blocks, puzzles, balls, clay, rings, story books, educational map, white board, marker and duster, chair, table etc. Addressing the program, Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel thanked various schools, organizations, associations and self-help organizations that helped in providing the kits. He told the Anganwadi workers to use the resources available in this kit in a better way so that children can develop creativity along with skill development. While encouraging the Anganwadi workers, Her Excellency Governor Anandiben Patel said that handling small children is a difficult task and the Anganwadi workers deserve congratulations for performing them well. He said that he learned a lot from the experiences gained from working in the Women and Child Welfare Department in Gujarat. While working during this period, all the Anganwadi centers there were made equipped with the cooperation of the society. He asked the enlightened people of the society to actively participate in this noble cause. Along with this it was also said that many people want to serve the society but due to lack of information they remain deprived of serving. It is everyone's responsibility to encourage such social workers. His Excellency Governor Anandiben Patel said in an emotional address that even today charity is most prevalent in rural areas along with urban areas. God resides in small children whose service will make God happy. Mrs. Anandi Ben Patel said that the positive impact that will be made through these educational kits given to 325 Anganwadi centers today will be visible in the times to come. He stressed on 100% institutional delivery. Which is currently 84 percent. Anganwadi workers should fully cooperate in this work. Along with this, ensure that 100 percent benefits of the schemes run by the government are provided. The responsibility of the Anganwadi worker is not complete until the child is enrolled in the first class. Anganwadi workers have an important contribution in providing values, education and health to children. Today Anganwadi workers have got respect along with a new identity. He said that the Anganwadi workers who are doing better work should be honoured. The eligible people should be benefited through government schemes. His Excellency the Governor praised the BC Sakhis while inspecting the stalls. He said that it is very gratifying to know that today girls are continuously moving forward on the path of progress in various fields. While giving aphorism, he said that education will bring prosperity. Only prosperity will bring happiness and peace. He asked for providing better education to weaker children. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Industrial Development Jaswant Saini said that the work of distribution of kits to Anganwadi centers was possible through public participation. The development and public welfare works done by the state government are being discussed not only in the country but all over the world. District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra said that with the inspiration of His Excellency the Governor, with the help of public representatives and intelligentsia of the society, we are able to give kits to Anganwadi workers. The basic objective of these kits is the all-round development of children. These children are the future of the country. He said that through Bharat Vikas Yatra, government run schemes were taken to every village. Along with this, His Excellency was informed that the district made the maximum number of 05 lakh 61 thousand 824 Ayushman cards in the country.
