Deoband (Saharanpur), various problems of the farmers were discussed in the meeting of Bharatiya Kisan Union (Kisan Janshakti). After the meeting, the farmers also sent a memorandum to the Chief Minister through the SDM regarding their various demands. It was said in the meeting that the farmers are not getting even the cost price, let alone the profitable price of their crops. In such a situation, this time the price of sugarcane should be declared at least Rs 500. Apart from this, they raised various demands. Later, the farmers sent a memorandum to the Chief Minister through the SDM. In the memorandum, demands were made to ensure the payment of sugarcane by sugar mills within 14 days, to curb underweighing, to repair the roads that were broken during the construction of tanks installed for drinking water supply, to waive the outstanding electricity bills of farmers and laborers and to stop the harassment of farmers in the name of recovery, to curb the damage caused to crops by stray animals and to send these animals to the cowshed. During this, Vinay Tyagi, Vijay Tyagi, Mahendra Kumar, Amrish, Rais, Senior Tyagi, Ajay Tyagi, Dhananjay Tyagi, Umesh Tyagi, Lokesh Tyagi, Samarsh Tyagi and Aditya etc. were present.
