Late last night, police took action in the ongoing farmers' protest at Zero Point in Greater Noida and arrested Sudhir Khalifa and several other farmers and sent them to jail. Regarding this, the families of farmer leaders have released a video accusing the police.

Regarding the arrest of the farmers, their families said that the doors of their houses were broken late last night and they were arrested. Farmer leader Rupesh also released a video late at night and called upon the farmers to reach Zero Point again by 12 noon on Thursday.

The government wants to suppress the movement
Regarding this arrest, Rupesh said that some farmers have been detained again late at night. He has said that at this time the movement is at its peak and the government wants to suppress it. Therefore, all the farmers have to make this movement successful. He has called upon the farmers to gather at Zero Point again at 12 noon today.

Police took action after CM Yogi's post

After CM Yogi Adityanath's post late night, the police has once again detained the farmers. There was a Mahapanchayat of farmers on Wednesday at Zero Point in Greater Noida. All the farmers arrested on Tuesday evening were released. After this, a panchayat was to be held today on Thursday for further strategy. But before that, around 12 o'clock at night at Zero Point, the farmers were taken into custody and sent to Luxor Jail. The protest at Zero Point was ended.

The police took this action when the number of farmers was less than 50. However, the police is not ready to say anything about this arrest. There has been no official statement from the police regarding the arrest of the farmers.

In fact, the Mahapanchayat of farmers which started on Wednesday morning at Zero Point in Greater Noida was in their favor. The police had released 123 farmers including all their farmer leaders who were in jail. However, Rakesh Tikait could not reach this Mahapanchayat, because the police had stopped him at Tappal.
