Indore, a family dispute took a horrific turn in the Kanadiya area near Indore. Suspecting his wife's character, a young man first stabbed his wife to death and then tried to kill his 12-year-old daughter. The accused strangled his daughter and threw her into the pond. The son, however, saved his life by feigning death and then emerged from the pond to inform villagers about the incident.

Daughter's body found in the pond

Following the incident, police and SDRF teams began searching the pond at night. The SDRF team arrived at the scene around 2:30 a.m., and the body of 12-year-old Mahi was recovered. It was reported that Mahi could not swim, which is why she was unable to save herself.

Police have arrested the accused, Sunil. The bodies of the deceased wife, Anita, and daughter Mahi have been sent to the hospital for post-mortem. After the incident, the accused also attempted suicide.

Suspicious of his wife's character

According to police, Sunil, the husband of Anita Chauhan, a resident of Kanadiya, often doubted her character. Sunil works as a driver and is often away from home due to work. This led to suspicions of infidelity, and the two would often argue upon returning home.

On Monday night, Sunil returned home and had an argument with his wife. As the argument escalated, Anita confronted him. Sunil then brought a knife from the kitchen. When Anita left the house, the accused followed her. He first tried to strangle her and then stabbed her multiple times, killing her.

The accused then targeted his daughter, Mahi, strangling her and throwing her into a pond. The son pretended to be dead to escape the accused. After being thrown into the pond, he somehow managed to escape and informed the villagers about the incident. Upon receiving the information, the police took action and arrested the accused.
