Under the direction of National Management Authority and State Disaster Management Authority, Saharanpur, state level earthquake and fire safety mock drill exercise was organized in Pinewood School Delhi Road, Medigram Hospital Delhi Road and Bajaj Hindustan Sugar Private Limited/Distillery Gangauli, Nagal Saharanpur. In which mock drill was conducted on all three subjects of earthquake, fire safety, rescue from high rise building. In which information was given about the equipment for different types of disasters and mock drill was done. NDRF, SDRF, FIRE DEPARTMENT, CIVIL DEFENCE already available in the district did high rise building rescue and rescue during earthquake and District Fire Department did rehearsal of rescue during fire. In which volunteers from Health Department, UP Home Guard, Police Department, BSNL Exchange, Bharat Scouts and Guides of different schools, NCC, Disaster Mitra Cadet etc. participated. On this occasion, Additional District Magistrate (V/R) Rajneesh Kumar Mishra thanked all the departments and participants. In which especially District Disaster Expert Pankaj Mishra, Divine Disaster Clerk Bhan Singh, District Organization Commissioner Scout (Scout) Anil Kumar Bhardwaj, Mohit Kumar etc were present.
