Saharanpur, A meeting of the District Nutrition Committee and District Conversion Committee constituted under the Nutrition Campaign was convened in the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra. In the meeting, District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra reviewed the prescribed points of the Nutrition Campaign. He directed that 100% feeding should be ensured on time through e-kavach and nutrition tracker app in a quality manner. All Anganwadi workers should go door-to-door and ensure 100% home visits. In order to ensure that ration distribution at Anganwadi centers is done as per the rules, the sub-district magistrates were instructed to visit from time to time and check the arrangements. District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra directed that the Anganwadi centers where work is going on under the rejuvenation in the district should be rejuvenated in accordance with the indicators set as per the standard. He said that the rejuvenation of Anganwadi Centres plays an important role in the development of children. For this, all the concerned officials should perform their responsibilities well. DM Dr Dinesh Chandra directed that while inspecting the centres from time to time, the supervisors, Anganwadi workers, doctors and concerned should work in collaboration by coordinating with each other for the development of the centres. After identification of SAM and MAM children, the work of sending them to VHND for improving their health should be expedited. Chief Development Officer Sumit Rajesh Mahajan, Project Officer DRDA Pranay Krishna, District Program Officer Nand Lal along with officers of concerned departments and Child Development Project Officer were present in the meeting.
