Saharanpur, Divisional Transport Authority meeting was convened in the Circuit House Auditorium under the chairmanship of Divisional Commissioner Dr. Hrishikesh Bhaskar Yashod. Various items were discussed in detail in the meeting as per the agenda point, after which important decisions were taken. Under Section-82(1) of the Motor Vehicles Act 1988, approval was given for transfer of permits after considering 04 applications. Under Section-82(3) of the Motor Vehicles Act 1988, approval was given after considering 01 application received from the heirs of the permit holder after his death. Approval was given after considering 01 application received for vehicle endorsement on the permit. It was decided to cancel the permit number- PSTP-450 route Shahpur-Nagwa-Budhana-Shamli of Ashok Kumar son of Radhuvir Singh resident Budhana district Muzaffarnagar. Considering 08 applications received with delay of more than 06 months of auto-tempo of the division, approval for permit renewal was given. Considering 03 vehicles under section-86 of Motor Vehicles Act 1988, it was decided to impose a fine of Rs. 10,000/- on 03 challans and suspend the permit for 01 month and in case of more than 04 09 challans, a fine of Rs. 20,000/- and suspend the permit for 01 month. It was decided to cancel the permit number- 2023-NP-9138D of U.P.11AT-4952. Instructions were given to obtain the opinion of District Magistrate, Shamli for determining the centers of autos in Shamli district. Instructions were given to collect penalty as per rules from 02 auto permit holders found violating the permit conditions. Instructions were given to determine routes for smooth operation of e-rickshaws. Apart from this, decisions were taken after due consideration on the representations of vehicle owners on other points. District Magistrate Saharanpur/Member, Divisional Transport Authority Manish Bansal, Deputy Transport Commissioner Meerut Zone Meerut/Member Divisional Transport Authority, Harishankar Singh, Divisional Transport Officer (Administration)/Secretary, Divisional Transport Authority Devmani Bhartiya, invited member VK Singh, Divisional Transport Officer (Enforcement), Saharanpur and Assistant Divisional Transport Officer (Enforcement) of the division, Passenger Tax Officer were present in the meeting.
