Divisional Commissioner took action against those doing over-rating, Government approved the proposal of Divisional Commissioner to stop over-rating
Customers purchasing liquor will get payment slip, which will curb over-rating
Saharanpur, Divisional Commissioner Dr. Hrishikesh Bhaskar Yashod took the complaints of over-rating in liquor sales seriously and got the liquor shops inspected through Sub-District Magistrates in all the districts of the division. Complaints of over-rating in Muzaffarnagar and Shamli districts were found to be true. Regarding which, Divisional Commissioner Hrishikesh Bhaskar Yashod has written a letter to the Government and Excise Commissioner for action. Along with this, some proposals have also been sent by the Divisional Commissioner to the Government to stop over-rating, on which the Government has expressed its consent. Now, as per the proposal of the Divisional Commissioner, in the near future, the customers purchasing liquor will also receive a bill/payment slip after scanning from the POS machine at the time of purchase, which will curb over-rating. The Divisional Commissioner has also informed that if any person has any complaint regarding over-rating or any other matter, he can register his complaint on the toll free number 14405 of the Excise Department, which will be monitored by the District Magistrate of the concerned district.
