District Magistrate took action against the clinic running illegally in Dholikhal,
The clinic was sealed, FIR was lodged against the quack doctor

Saharanpur. District Magistrate Manish Bansal had received a complaint of running a clinic illegally. In the complaint, a person named SM Tayyab was said to be practicing allopathic medicine without registration and without a degree in Mohalla Sheerjaan, near Shakir Parchun Wala, Dholikhal, Police Station Qutubsher. In view of the complaint, District Magistrate Manish Bansal constituted a team of three members under the chairmanship of City Magistrate Gajendra Kumar. Which included Additional Chief Medical Officer Dr. Rakesh Chandra and District Tuberculosis Officer Sarvesh Singh. Under this, the team conducted a surprise inspection on Thursday, October 17. During the inspection, evidence of practice was found while no registration of any kind was available from SM Tayyab. He was running the clinic illegally. Before this, on 16th October, the team went for a surprise inspection. On the spot, the shutter of the establishment was found closed and the name of Dr. S.M. Tayyab and his degrees were written as D.Pharma and B.Pharma on the board outside. In this regard, a notice was issued by the Chief Medical Officer and instructions were given to show all the educational records immediately on 17th October. It was found that S.M. Tayyab had done D.Pharma and B.Pharma. This degree is authorised to run a medical store. In the investigation conducted by the team, it was found that not only was the clinic being run illegally, but the work of a doctor was being done despite not having the degree of a doctor and cheating the public, playing with human life and violating Section 15 of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 was being done. Taking immediate action on the instructions of the District Magistrate, an FIR was registered in the Qutubsher police station. Continuous complaints were being received about illegal clinics and quack doctors providing treatment in the district. The District Magistrate had instructed the Chief Medical Officer to investigate illegal clinics and quack doctors and take action against them. The District Magistrate said that any kind of tampering with the health of the general public will not be tolerated. Similarly, sealing action will be taken by conducting surprise inspections and action will be taken against quack doctors as per the rules. He instructed the concerned officials that no kind of negligence should be done in this matter as it is a matter related to life and health.
