Saharanpur. District Magistrate Manish Bansal inspected the projects under construction of Tourism Department at Shakumbhari Devi Shaktipeeth located in Behat area. He visited many places to identify better land for Rahi Tourist Accommodation and Theme Park. He instructed to prepare and send a proposal for building a theme park on the land near Panchmukhi Temple. He instructed that the implementing agency and the concerned department should work in better coordination with each other. The parking capacity should be increased by selecting the site according to the convenience of the general public.

District Magistrate Manish Bansal also checked the quality of the work of widening the Behat-Shakumbhari road. He instructed the PWD department to complete the work in a timely manner with quality. DM Manish Bansal informed that works like TFC, parking, open air theatre, Rahi tourist accommodation house, landscaping, footpath, murals sculptures water foundation, entrance complex in Shaktipeeth, road lighting, installation of signage, creation of tourism facilities, theme park based on 51 Shaktipeeths are to be done in Shakumbhari Devi Shaktipeeth.

During the inspection, Chief Development Officer Sumit Rajesh Mahajan, Sub-District Magistrate Behat Manvendra Singh, Deputy Director Tourism Mrs. Preeti Srivastava along with officials of the implementing agency and senior officials were present.
