Deoband (Saharanpur). Deepotsav was celebrated with grand presentations of cultural programs in Doon Valley Public School, Deoband. The program was inaugurated by the school's chairman Rajkishore Gupta, manager Mrs. Suman Singhal, principal Mrs. Seema Sharma, quality head Mrs. Archana Sharma, branch head Mr. Tanuj Kapil, vice-principal Hardeep Singh by offering flowers and lighting lamps in front of the idols of Lord Ganesha and Mata Lakshmi. After the welcome song, the program started with Mangal Gaan, after which the children of Wing 2 presented a group dance on the song 'Badhaai Ho' and a soulful rendition of 'Mere Ram Ji Ki Mahima'. After the emotional poem presented by Advik, the children of Wing 3 gave a wonderful dance performance on 'Doli Taaro, Shubh Din Aayo-Re' and 'Mere Ghar Ram Aaye Hain' and forced all the people present to clap. At the end of the program, a spectacular display of fireworks was done. On this occasion, the Chairman of the school, Rajkishore Gupta, while wishing Diwali, advised all the children to be careful while bursting fireworks. The Principal of the school, Smt. Seema Sharma, while explaining the importance of festivals in Indian culture, told about the festival series of Diwali and inspired to follow the ideals of Lord Shri Ram. At the end of the program, gifts and sweets were distributed to all the teachers and staff on behalf of the school and best wishes were given.
